A Message from our Board President

Tradition of Excellence

The Conroe Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1997. Since its inception, the Symphony has continued under the baton of several fine musicians including Dr. Robert Zwick and Dr. Don Hutson. Our 25th Anniversary season continues this tradition of excellence under the direction of Gary Liebst.

“…to add to the cultural enrichment of the community, assuring a better quality of life for the Conroe area.”

Our objective is to provide you with the best possible musical experience, while showcasing the talent and hard work of our area musicians.

America the Beautiful will feature a special guest performance from The Victory Belles, ambassadors from the National World War II Museum.

“This concert was designed specifically to honor their service to our country and the sacrifices they have made,” Gary Liebst, CSO Director, said. “As far as musical highlights, we are thrilled to have our guest artists from the World War II Museum in New Orleans, The Victory Belles, join us for this concert. Their portion of the show should be a real highlight for the audience as they show off their vocal talents and present an Andrews Sisters style show.”

our Partners

Ticket sales to our concerts cover only a portion of our operating budget. Bringing in a number of monies needed to run our program is oftentimes a challenge. We sell ads in the program, recruit sponsors for the concerts, solicit grants, hold fundraisers, and receive donations from friends of the orchestra. We are raising these funds to build a foundation upon which the orchestra can grow.

You can help! Your donation will help ensure that we continue to provide the best musical experience to the community. As a 501(c)3 organization, your gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and many employers participate in a matching gifts program, which can double or even triple your gift!
