A concert for all ages. Children 10 and under are free.
Kick off the 2026–2027 season with a night that swings. The Conroe Symphony Orchestra opens the year with a big band tribute to the golden age of American swing — the era of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and Tommy Dorsey. The sound that once filled every ballroom and radio in the country, played live by your community orchestra.
Featured vocalist Hugh Poland — a beloved returning soloist whose interpretation of “American Soldier” moved audiences last summer — brings the perfect voice and energy to this program.
Bring your dancing shoes, or just tap your toes from your seat. Bring the kids. Bring someone who thinks they don’t like the symphony.
